It’s my life, it’s my right!

The argument is that smokers have rights too. Yes they do, however, if that right infringes on my right not to smoke. Why do I have to give up my right so you can have yours? The point is not whether smoke kills or not, it is about my rights Vs. Your rights.

Maybe it just seems that way!

I have noticed lately that more and more smokers are pushing the limits. Do we have a smokers revolt on our hands? It is pretty revolting having to share their smoke!

Smoke Free, To breath, right or discrimination

I would say that discriminating is a strong word for this situation. Would it not also be discriminating to allow smokers a free right to poison my breathing air. I feel that it is more a matter of rights than discrimination. I should have the right to breath air that is free of a smokers second hand smoke. If a smoker truly desires to poison himself, that is his right but he should not be allowed to poison others. Just a thought!

Took the Grandkids to the Boardwalk, I remember walking the walk and having smoke blown at me every turn. Not so yesterday, seems there is no smoking allowed in the common areas of the boardwalk now! Progress is a wonderful thing!
